Space Fleets

The first time I saw the ads for Battlefleet Gothic I knew that I would enjoy putting the ships together, painting them and spend 12 to 18 hours raining hot laser fire death upon my opponents. But having the time to spend 12 hours enacting a great space battle has proven to be difficult. But the ships I ended up making look pretty good.

Note that most of these photos have been doctored to remove the stands that support the ships in real life.

Imperial Fleet

A shot of the Imperial fleet I have built. 4 cruisers, and 3 escort ships. I have 2 battleships that are in the process of being put together.

A close up of a well done imperial cruiser.

A set of 3 cruisers in various stages of completeness. (The one that has been base painted to all black is hard to see. The grey one hasn't had any paint applied yet.

Chaos Fleet

At this time the Chaos Fleet was 4 Cruisers and a Battleship.

Plus this shot "at night" is really neat. The silver picks up the light nicely.

Some of the individual ships I did.

Escort Ships

This is the collection of escort ships I have. Some Ork, some Imperial and some Chaos.

Silent Death

I also picked up the boxed set of Silent Death. It is a much faster playing game that is hex based. It is quite fun, but I have not painted many of the ships yet.
