Desert Tortoise Preserve Did I mention how much I dislike the desert? The only good thing is all of the wild Desert Tortoises. Look at them frolicing! (We were here at noon in the middle of July. Desert tortoises are much smarter then humans they burrow underground during the summer months and don't come out.)
